The inspiration for this silk was an actual hike in the Hudson Valley, where a huge gazebo was located and to me it looked like a large bird cage so I painted a big yellow bird is sitting on a nest of lemons.
Poets' Walk is located in Red Hook, New York, United States on the River Road. It is intended to celebrate the connection between landscape and poetry. The classic wooden vistas, sunlit fields and thick forest.
