This small silk painting is of a colorful yellow horse with a beautiful mane made up of flowers.
I often paint horses as well as other animals. I first draw with a resist and then fill in with silk paint and fabric paint. She also has a few jewels glued to her mane.
This is framed in a red, enameled bamboo frame.
