This fun and colorful silk painting is of a woman flying in the sky. She is surrounded by birds which are a constant theme in my work now. She was inspired by a trip to Bhutan for the Festivals where the dancers wore brightly colored costumes that flowed when they danced.
This silk won FIRST PRIZE at the Spring Foreward Exhibition from the Rhode Island Watercolor Society, May 22-June 25, 2021. 42
