Awesome Maui

This is a large silk painting of beautiful Maui.

When I lived in Los Angeles I went to Maui many times.  I usually stayed in Napili Bay but the whole island is beautiful.   The area I painted is Lahaina.    I find that silk paint really lends itself well to painting water and I love the bright colors.
